Crawlspace Encapsulation

Complete moisture control for your crawlspace — protecting your home's foundation, air quality, and energy efficiency.

An unencapsulated crawlspace is one of the most overlooked sources of moisture damage, mold growth, and energy loss in a home. OnPoint Restoration provides complete crawlspace encapsulation — sealing your crawlspace from ground moisture, improving air quality throughout your home, and protecting your foundation for years to come.

How We Work

Our Crawlspace Encapsulation Process

01

Crawlspace Inspection

We thoroughly inspect your crawlspace for existing moisture damage, mold, pest activity, and structural issues before encapsulation.

02

Debris & Mold Removal

Existing debris, damaged insulation, and any mold growth are removed and properly disposed of before encapsulation begins.

03

Vapor Barrier Installation

A heavy-duty, reinforced polyethylene vapor barrier is installed across the entire floor and up the walls, sealed at all seams and penetrations.

04

Drainage & Sump (if needed)

If standing water is present, we install interior drainage systems and sump pumps to manage water intrusion before sealing.

05

Insulation & Conditioning

Rigid foam insulation is installed on the walls, and the space is properly conditioned to maintain appropriate temperature and humidity.

06

Final Inspection

We conduct a final inspection and provide documentation of the completed encapsulation for your records and any future real estate transactions.

Why It Matters

Improves indoor air quality — up to 50% of your home's air comes from the crawlspace
Reduces energy costs by improving thermal efficiency
Protects against pest infestations that thrive in damp environments
